Bitcoin's Bull Flag Pattern: $90K Target Within Reach
Bitcoin's price surge has caught the attention of traders and analysts alike. A potential bull flag is starting to form at the top of the recent price action, with a possible target of $90K coming into play.
The bull flag pattern is characterized by a sharp increase in price followed by a consolidation or correction phase. In this case, Bitcoin's price hit a local high of $79,500 before falling back to around $76,700. The bulls have since regrouped, and the price has been trading sideways within the confines of a flag structure.
For a bull flag to be confirmed, there typically needs to be at least three touches to the top and bottom of the flag. So far, the price action is lacking in this requirement, but traders are optimistic that more sideways and downward chop could complete the pattern.
The Fibonacci retracement levels also indicate that the correction may not be over yet. The price has only retreated as far as the 0.236 Fibonacci level, which is a relatively shallow retracement. A move to at least the 0.382 level would likely be considered a healthier correction by traders.
