Bitcoin's Bullish Reversal Strengthens Case for $200K Price Target
Bitcoin's price structure and ETF inflows suggest a bullish reversal ahead, strengthening expectations of further upside if momentum continues.
The cryptocurrency is currently trading at $79,346.80 with a 24-hour trading volume of $35.49 billion and a market capitalization of $1.59 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap data.
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel notes that Bitcoin's monthly chart is showing a potential bullish reversal, drawing attention as its current structure begins to resemble a previous market cycle after a severe correction.
Any breakthrough through the critical level of neckline on the monthly chart could add to the bullish sentiment and put Bitcoin in the range of $150,000-$200,000, while breaking below the first support could make the bullish setup invalid and expose Bitcoin to further decline towards the $55,000-$45,000 range.
The consistent appetite from investors for Bitcoin exposure through an exchange-traded fund channel is highlighted by net inflows of $242 million into U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs on August 27, marking their ninth successive day of gains, according to data from Wu Blockchain.
