Bitcoin's Bullish Signal: Long-Term Holders Still Accumulating
CryptoQuant's analysis suggests that Bitcoin may be entering a new bullish phase. The SOPR indicator, which tracks whether coins spent by long-term holders are in profit or loss, has risen above 1 for Bitcoin. This movement indicates that the market has transitioned from a bearish period into a neutral zone and signifies the start of a full-scale bullish phase.
The SOPR indicator rising above 1 means that long-term holders have begun moving their coins at an average price above their cost basis, but in this current cycle, it has not yet exceeded the level of 6, which is associated with historical peaks. In previous cycles, the indicator reached regions of 6 and above during peak periods.
CryptoQuant's assessment suggests that this cycle has not yet experienced a period where long-term holders took significant profits, indicating that the process so far is seen as a preparatory phase before a new rally. Long-term investors have continued to accumulate Bitcoin holdings until recently, which are now at an all-time high.
CryptoQuant predicts that the cycle peak could occur in the profit-taking zone where SOPR rises above 6, similar to past examples. This prediction suggests that long-term holders may not have yet taken significant profits and are still accumulating their coins.
