Bitcoin's Comeback: Key Signals That Could Confirm a Broader Crypto Rally
Bitcoin's sharp comeback has many in the crypto community wondering if this is more than just a rebound. The asset has surpassed $72,000 for the first time since early June and continues to climb.
While some see this as a sign of a broader crypto rally, experts caution that one breakout alone is not enough to confirm it. For Bitcoin's recovery to be considered sustainable, several key signals need to be met: sustained institutional demand, improved altcoin breadth, and the asset holding important technical levels.
As of now, Bitcoin has reclaimed its 200-day moving average around $71,549 and sits above $75,000 after gaining roughly 18.81% over seven days. The next key area of interest is approximately $77,500, while a failure to hold the $69,000-$70,000 zone could suggest that much of the rebound came from temporary short covering.
Another important signal is institutional demand, which has been strong in recent weeks. US spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded significant inflows, with $517 million netting in during the initial rally and approximately $1 billion flowing in during the first two weeks of August.
