Bitcoin's Consolidation Zone Sets Up Potential Breakout Trap

Bitcoin's price has been consolidating between $77,000 and $81,000 over the past five hours, with momentum cooling down. This tight zone is setting up a potential breakout, but it also means that both bulls and bears are at risk of getting trapped.

The long-term trend remains bullish, as Bitcoin's price still sits above its 200-period Simple Moving Average ($67,890). However, the short-term momentum has shifted negative, with the MACD crossing bearish (107.27 < 307.61) and the RSI dipping to 44.44.

The critical support level for bulls is just above $76,200, where the SuperTrend and Ichimoku cloud base converge. If this support level is lost, momentum could shift quickly in favor of bears.
