Crypto analyst Crypto Rover has sparked debate about Bitcoin's price trajectory by suggesting that buying BTC at its current level is comparable to purchasing it at various lower points in the past, including $2.

According to a chart shared with his 1.6 million followers on X, Bitcoin's long-term logarithmic regression curve shows little deviation over the past decade. The green markers indicate historical touchpoints where the asset went on to experience significant price growth.

The chart highlights instances where BTC touched lower levels before experiencing rallies, including $2 over a decade ago, $10, $200, $3,500, and most recently, $16,000 during the bear cycle in 2022. Each of these points was followed by new all-time highs.

Rover's chart suggests that Bitcoin is currently in 'on-curve' territory at its current price range of $65,000-$66,000, implying that buying BTC now carries similar long-term upside potential to purchasing it at lower levels in the past.
