Bitcoin's Golden Cross Signal Sparks $86K Target Amid Complicated Timing
Bitcoin has flashed its golden cross signal, but timing may be complicated. The 'golden cross' occurs when the 50-day moving average crosses above the 200-day moving average.
The price of Bitcoin currently sits near $77,800 after a 2% drop from the previous close. It failed to sustain another challenge at $80,000.
However, the signal is not without its warnings. Historically, only three out of 12 golden crosses remained intact for a full year.
A concentrated resistance zone around $83,000-$86,000 has been identified by Glassnode. Long-term holder cost basis, ETF break-even levels, and derivatives liquidation positioning all point to this ceiling.
