Bitcoin (BTC) has been struggling to regain its footing after a recent hype window. The largest and dominant digital asset is currently trading at $77,187 with a volume of $31.03 billion. Over the past 24 hours, it has ranged between $77,176 and $79,529.

Key stakeholder wallets, which historically correlate tightly with future price direction, have reduced their exposure to BTC in recent weeks. Their holdings are down 0.20% over the past three weeks. In contrast, retail wallets holding under 0.01 BTC have been adding to their holdings, gaining 0.09% since the FOMO peak.

Technical analysis suggests that the bearish grip on BTC is tightening, with potential support levels at $76K and resistance levels at $78K. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line and signal line are both below zero, indicating a firm macro downtrend. However, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) resting at 41.30 indicates that selling momentum has recently outpaced buying pressure.
