Bitcoin's Low May Be Locked In: Analyst Sees 80% of Signals Met
Crypto analyst Sykodelic says that Bitcoin has cleared about 80% of the technical conditions needed to confirm its recent low. The remaining signs will likely come in the next few days as the weekly and monthly candles close.
The final indicator is a weekly close above $82,700. If this happens, it's likely that the bottom for Bitcoin has locked in for good. However, if the price closes below $82,700, there might be one more drop towards $75,000 before the low is confirmed.
Sykodelic pointed out that four key signals still need to be met: a weekly close above the 50 SMA at $82,000, a weekly close above the Supertrend line at $79,000, a higher low set above $82,700, and a monthly close above $76,463.
The analyst also noted that short-term holder MVRV Bollinger Bands have entered an overheated zone for the first time since November 2024. This is similar to readings seen near the ends of the 2018 and 2022 bear markets.
