Bitcoin's Near-Term Outlook Uncertain, $100,000 Milestone Looms
The founder of crypto research firm 10x Research, Markus Thielen, believes that Bitcoin is unlikely to surpass its current all-time high in the near term.
In an interview, Thielen highlighted $100,000 as a key milestone for Bitcoin, suggesting it's not just a psychological level but also a major technical achievement. He noted that even approaching this price point would represent a significant market event.
The current all-time high of around $73,000 was reached in March 2024, and Thielen acknowledged that market conditions have shifted since then. He emphasized that the path to a new record remains challenging, citing macroeconomic uncertainty, interest rate policies, and reduced volatility as contributing factors.
