Bitcoin's Next Move: Breaking the $82,000 Resistance Zone
Crypto trader and two-time winner of global crypto trading competitions Cedric Cerezo shares his insights on Bitcoin's recent price action. He notes that after a few relatively boring weeks with sideways market movements, Bitcoin touched $82,500, placing the market at an interesting level.
The key resistance zone remains around $82,000, and Cerezo believes that breaking this zone will pave the way for a move to $88,000. However, he emphasizes that a simple spike above this zone does not necessarily mean the resistance is broken, and a real close above with solid volume is required.
Despite the bearish market structure on a macro reading, Cerezo observes that the market is showing strength, with present flows into Bitcoin ETFs giving buyers more control. He also acknowledges that the opposite scenario is possible, with potential support around $78,500 and main support at $76,000.
If these supports are broken, a correction to $71,000 could occur. However, Cerezo considers this zone an excellent opportunity for those who missed lower buys or did not take advantage of the move from $60,000.
