Bitcoin's Price Surge Above $80K May Not Be a Trap After All
Bitcoin's price has surpassed $80,000 after breaking past the resistance level at $65,000. However, it quickly fell by over 2% to $78,075.19 in just two days.
MSB Intel notes that Bitcoin has historically spent very little time trading above $70,000. Out of its 4,364 days of recorded daily closing prices, only 12.7% were above this level.
This means that for about 87.3% of its history, Bitcoin closed below $70,000. Yet, MSB Intel emphasizes that this does not mean the current price is overvalued or due for a correction.
Instead, it suggests that as Bitcoin's price rises, levels once considered exceptional are becoming the new normal.
