Bitcoin's Price Under Pressure as Selling Pressure Mounts
Bitcoin's price is facing renewed selling pressure as it struggles to break above the $65,000 level. The current trading price is near $64,200, with a mix of on-chain and institutional data indicating weakening demand and rising sell-side pressure.
The signs of weakness include increasing exchange balances, declining miner reserves, negative Bitcoin ETF flows, and a negative Coinbase Premium. This suggests that the market is experiencing both growing potential supply and decreasing demand.
According to analyst Ali, six key indicators point to rising selling pressure: heavy supply near $61,000-$64,000, rising exchange balances, declining miner reserves, decreased strategy holdings, negative ETF flows, and a negative Coinbase Premium. These signals are weighing on sentiment and making it crucial for Bitcoin to defend its current support.
Technically, BTC needs to reclaim the $66,800 resistance zone to regain stronger bullish momentum. If it fails to do so, a move towards $62,000-$60,000 remains possible. On the other hand, breaking above $66,800 could shift the outlook and open the way towards $68,000-$70,000.
