Bitcoin's Spent Output Profit Ratio (SOPR) indicator has remained above the breakeven level since August 19, marking its longest streak of positive readings this year.

The metric indicates that investors are selling Bitcoin at a profit, with an average sale price higher than their purchase price. A value above 1 means that investors are selling coins for more than they paid for them.

According to CryptoQuant data, the latest SOPR reading is around 1.002, while Glassnode shows an aggregated SOPR of approximately 1.017 as of September 8.

The current structure of short-term holder behavior is seen as a sign of a potential bull market recovery by Checkonchain analysts, who note that this shift typically occurs during the early stages of a bull phase.
