Bitcoin's Rally Above $81,000 Attracts Fresh Capital
Bitcoin's rally above $81,000 is attracting fresh capital from various parts of the market, differentiating it from its initial surge that relied heavily on short covering.
On Thursday, US spot Bitcoin ETFs drew in $730.9 million, their largest daily inflow since January, with BlackRock's IBIT accounting for roughly $454 million.
The influx is providing a stronger source of demand after CryptoQuant found that much of the earlier push toward $81,000 was driven by shorts being liquidated or closed.
Thursday's ETF haul followed a strong August in which US Bitcoin funds attracted about $3.5 billion, their best month since September 2025.
