Bitcoin's Rally Lacks Fresh Leverage Amid Fed Hawkishness

Bitcoin has seen a recent uptick of almost 23% over the past month, but this rally is being questioned by some as it lacks fresh leverage and faces a firm Federal Reserve stance. The asset stabilized above $77,700 after briefly dipping below $76,500.

According to QCP Capital, the latest surge in Bitcoin's price came mainly from short covering rather than an increase in new leveraged positions. This leaves markets facing a narrow liquidity environment and little support for near-term rate cuts, as reinforced by Kevin Warsh's comments on maintaining a 2% PCE inflation target.

Analysts such as NoName and CryptoPatel are watching the $83,000 level closely, with some warning that a rejection at this point followed by a break below $74,000 could send Bitcoin toward $50,000-$55,000. However, Doctor Profit remains optimistic, believing the bear market is over and expecting a bull market escalation.
