Crypto equities pulled back in early trading Monday, following Bitcoin's price decline to around $78,700. The dip coincided with a fifth consecutive day of falling dominance for BTC, which now accounts for 59.35% of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization.

The retreat from last week's highs above $82,000 has sent several large-cap stocks lower. MSTR (Strategy), CRCL (Circle), and COIN (Coinbase) all dipped in pre-market trading, with shares of Strategy falling over 2% and Circle and Coinbase dipping around 1.5%.

In contrast, Robinhood Markets (HOOD) edged higher, continuing its recent decoupling from Bitcoin's price action. BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), which has ties to Ethereum, also gained in pre-market trading, with the leading altcoin outperforming BTC over the past 24 hours.
