Bitcoin's RSI Enters Overbought Zone, Analysts Warn of Potential Correction
Bitcoin's Relative Strength Index (RSI) has reached an overbought zone not seen in two years. This development follows Bitcoin's recent sharp price gains, with the cryptocurrency breaking above its trading range of $62,000 to $71,000.
The RSI rose to the 84-86 range, attracting investor attention due to the strong momentum coexisting with the risk of a potential correction.
Bitcoin surged by up to 12% in just one to two days after breaking above its trading range, coming close to the $80,000 level. This sharp price movement led to significant liquidation of short positions, with over $3 billion in shorts liquidated within 24 hours.
The current support point for Bitcoin is at $77,000, and analysts believe that maintaining this level is critical for sustaining the uptrend.
