Bitcoin's September Outlook: Bullish Signals vs Bear Market Indicators

Bitcoin's (BTC) September outlook remains uncertain as both bullish and bearish signals emerge.

Analyst Benjamin Cowen assessed various on-chain, technical, sentiment, and cycle indicators to determine if Bitcoin has reached its cycle low or still faces another decline.

While several indicators favor bulls, the overall evidence is mixed. Key bullish signals include Bitcoin's weekly RSI having fallen to levels associated with prior major lows, and long-term holder accumulation plateauing near levels historically seen at cycle bottoms.

However, some traditionally reliable bear market indicators have not reset to their previous lows, such as Bitcoin's Puell Multiple, MVRV Z-score, and market-cap-to-thermocap ratio. Additionally, whale activity has remained muted compared with previous cycle lows.
