Bitcoin's September Rally Faces Multiple Warning Signs
Bitcoin's recent 24% August rally has some warning signs flashing caution as it enters September. According to data from CryptoQuant, Bitcoin reserves on Binance have climbed to around 687,000 BTC, the highest level recorded this year.
This increase in exchange balances can be a sign that traders are preparing to sell or hedge their positions, potentially releasing more coins into the market.
Another warning sign comes from U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which saw $201.8 million in net outflows on August 28 after attracting over $3 billion during a nine-session run.
The third indicator of caution is that spot demand has weakened, with net inflows falling by 51.8% to $924.5 million in the week ending August 28 compared to the previous week.
