Bitcoin's growing ties to Wall Street and major financial firms have created a divide within the crypto community, according to Arca's Katie Talati. In a recent interview, Talati noted that some early Bitcoin users are frustrated by its increasing corporate image.

Talati said these 'crypto OGs' are witnessing Bitcoin shift from its cyberpunk roots into boardrooms and mainstream media attention. This change has led to renewed interest in privacy-focused cryptocurrencies such as Zcash and Monero, which still embody the counterculture ethos of early Bitcoin supporters.

The friction between Bitcoin's original identity and its growing institutionalization is driving investors towards coins that offer anonymity and a sense of being outside the mainstream financial system. Talati pointed to Zcash as an example of an alternative to Bitcoin, with its price reaching nearly $1,137 in recent weeks.
