Bitdeer Announces Record-Breaking Leases and Mining Production
Bitdeer Technologies Group, a world-leading technology company for AI and Bitcoin mining infrastructure, announced its unaudited operations updates for July 2026. The company saw continued execution across its vertically integrated platform, with key milestones achieved in both its AI Cloud and colocation businesses.
In a significant move, Bitdeer announced a $4.7 billion, 16-year AI/HPC lease with Volta at the Tydal, Norway campus. This deal marks a major milestone in converting the company's power portfolio into contracted, long-term revenue. The leased facility will be configured to run NVIDIA GPUs for the end customer, a leading AI lab.
On the AI Cloud front, Bitdeer's 9.5MW A102 facility in Malaysia is fully committed under long-term offtake agreements, representing total expected contracted revenue exceeding $800 million. The company expects to sign contracts for the A201 facility (21.7MW IT Load) within a month and start collecting advance payments.
In its mining business, Bitdeer saw a 322% year-over-year increase in Bitcoin production to 1,190 BTC. The company's self-mining hash rate reached approximately 76.7 EH/s, while its co-mining hashrate stood at 18.7 EH/s. Total Proprietary Hash Rate as of July 31, 2026, includes Self-Mining Hash Rate and Other Proprietary Hash Rate.
