Bitdeer Bitcoin Mining Output Skyrockets, Revenue Rises
Bitdeer's bitcoin mining output skyrocketed in the second quarter of this year. The company mined an impressive 2,694 BTC during this period, nearly five times more than it did a year ago when it had mined just 565 BTC.
This significant increase in mining output led to a corresponding rise in revenue for Bitdeer. Its self-mining revenue rose by 47% to $168.4 million from $155.6 million the previous year. The company's average self-mining hashrate also saw a substantial jump of 389% to 69.5 exahash.
However, despite these positive numbers, Bitdeer reported a net loss of $92.3 million for the second quarter. This is an increase from its net loss in the same period last year which stood at $62.9 million.
