Bitdeer Expands AI Capacity by 65.1MW in Malaysia

Bitdeer has significantly expanded its AI data center capacity in Malaysia by adding 65.1 MW of power, bringing its total secured AI Cloud footprint to approximately 206.5 MW across three countries: Malaysia, Norway, and the U.S.

This move highlights a trend where bitcoin miners are repurposing their power infrastructure to tap into more stable and potentially larger AI revenues.

Bitdeer aims to reach 350 MW of AI capacity by early 2028, with a pipeline valued over $7 billion.

The company continues to balance its focus on both bitcoin mining and AI data centers, evolving into a hybrid digital infrastructure operator.
