Bitdeer Expands Bitcoin Mining Capacity with Wind-Powered Deal

Bitdeer Technologies Group is expanding its bitcoin mining operations by partnering with Soluna Holdings to deploy 1.93 exahash per second (EH/s) of mining capacity at a wind-powered data center in South Texas, starting September 2026.

This co-mining deal allows Bitdeer to add mining power without infrastructure costs, while Soluna shares the bitcoin mining proceeds instead of just hosting fees.

Despite focusing on AI and up to 350 MW of AI data center capacity by early 2028, Bitdeer continues to grow its bitcoin mining operations alongside these plans.
