Bitdeer Lands $4.7B AI Data Center Deal in Norway
Bitdeer Technologies Group has announced a massive $4.7 billion deal to provide AI infrastructure colocation services at its Tydal campus in Norway, expanding beyond bitcoin mining.
The agreement with Volta Tydal AS, a subsidiary of AI infrastructure platform Volta, represents approximately $4.7 billion in contracted revenue during the base term and could reach $8 billion over 24 years with an embedded eight-year renewal option.
Under the deal, Bitdeer will lease 121 IT megawatts to Volta, supported by 133 gross megawatts, for NVIDIA Rubin GPUs with Dell Technologies as the technology provider.
