Bitdeer Smashes Mining Record with 990 Bitcoin in June
Bitdeer, a Singapore-based mining firm, set a new record in June by producing 990 Bitcoin. This marks a 7.5% increase from May's output and is accompanied by a significant surge in its computing power to 73 exahashes per second.
The company disclosed the figures in its latest production and operations update filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Bitdeer stated that it produced 990 BTC from its self-mining operations, excluding hosted capacity or hashrate sold to third parties.
The record output coincides with an increase in Bitdeer's operational firepower, with its self-mining hashrate reaching 73 EH/s. This level of computing power places Bitdeer ahead of rival Cipher and represents the operational engine driving the record output.
