Bitdeer Surges Past 8% of Bitcoin Block Rewards with Record Mining Numbers
Bitdeer's (NASDAQ: BTDR) mining operations are expanding rapidly. The company mined a record 1,190 bitcoins in July, increasing its production by 20% from June and 322% from the same period last year.
This growth has lifted Bitdeer's estimated share of global block rewards to nearly 9%, up from 7.44% in June and 1.95% a year ago. The company's share has increased more than sixfold since May 2025, when it stood at 1.34%.
Bitdeer attributes its success to the deployment of its internally developed Sealminer machines across both its own facilities and third-party sites. Its self-mining capacity reached 76.7 exahashes per second (EH/s) by the end of July, up from 73 EH/s in June and 22.3 EH/s a year earlier.
The company is also expanding into AI infrastructure, with plans to deploy about 28 megawatts of Sealminer A2 Pro Air machines at Soluna Holdings' Project Kati 1 in South Texas. This installation will add to Bitdeer's growing presence in the AI market.
