Bitdeer's Bitcoin Mining Output Surges Fivefold in Q2 2026
Bitdeer's Bitcoin mining output surged nearly fivefold in Q2 2026, with the company extracting 2,694 BTC from its operations. This significant increase comes after a year of expansion for the miner, which also ventured into AI data centers and high-performance computing.
The company liquidated its entire treasury of 943 BTC earlier this year, citing liquidity decisions rather than a shift away from its core Bitcoin mining business. Bitdeer now holds just 150 BTC on its balance sheet, down 90% from 1,502 BTC at the same time last year.
Despite the increased mining output and revenue growth, Bitdeer's net loss widened to $92.3 million in Q2. The company reported $228.8 million in revenue for the quarter, a 47% increase from $155.6 million in the same period last year.
