Bitdeer's Mining Output Surges by Almost 377% Amid Growing AI Focus
Bitdeer's mining operation saw significant growth in Q2 as it mined 2,694 BTC, up from just 565 BTC a year ago. The revenue rose by 47% to $228.8 million, driven mainly by self-mining activities, which accounted for $168.4 million of the total.
The company's net loss increased to $92.3 million due to higher costs of revenue and depreciation expenses. Despite this, adjusted EBITDA rose significantly to $31.1 million from $4.6 million in the previous Q2 2025.
Bitdeer is expanding its energy infrastructure for both crypto mining and AI computing. The company has secured a 16-year, $4.7 billion AI/HPC lease agreement connected to its Tydal site in Norway, with plans for 121 IT MW of NVIDIA GPU deployments for a major AI customer.
