Bitdeer's Q2 Bitcoin Mining Output Soars Fivefold as Company Expands into New Areas
Bitdeer saw its Bitcoin mining output skyrocket in Q2, increasing nearly fivefold from the same period last year. The company mined a total of 2,694 BTC during this time, up significantly from the 565 BTC it produced in Q2 2025.
Despite the substantial increase in production, Bitdeer's balance sheet shows that it is holding just 150 BTC as of the end of Q2, down 90% from the 1,502 BTC it held last year. This decline is due to the company's decision to liquidate its entire treasury of 943 BTC earlier this year.
Bitdeer has been expanding into new areas beyond Bitcoin mining, including AI data centers and high-performance computing. In August, the company signed a 16-year lease for 121 megawatts of AI computing capacity in Norway, valued at $4.7 billion.
