Bitfinex Delists 13 Crypto Assets, Withdrawals Open Until August 31
Bitfinex has announced that it will be delisting 13 crypto assets from its trading platform. The affected assets include Cosmos (ATOM), Lido, Jupiter, and EigenLayer, which are regularly found in German portfolios. Trading for these assets was halted in July, but withdrawals remain open until August 31, 2026 at 10:00 UTC.
The exchange has published an inventory of its trading pairs, showing that none of the delisted assets have active spot trading pairs. However, all 13 assets still appear on the exchange's currency list and have a withdrawal method on file, indicating that technically, withdrawals are still possible.
One issue to be aware of is that Bitfinex uses different ticker symbols internally for some assets than the ones used in the announcement and press reports. For example, Cosmos (ATOM) appears as ATO, while Vaulta (A) appears under the old ticker EOS.
The exchange has also confirmed that each of the 13 assets has exactly one withdrawal route at Bitfinex, which runs over the token's own network in every case. This means that users will need to have a suitable wallet for each asset before attempting to withdraw it.
