Bitfinex Lists Tokenized Notes for Bitcoin Treasury Companies
Bitfinex Securities has listed five new tokenized notes that track the performance of publicly traded bitcoin treasury companies. These products allow eligible investors to gain synthetic exposure to how shares in Strategy, Metaplanet, H100, and Capital B move without directly owning them. The notes are backed by real shares held via ORO (II), a Luxembourg securitization fund.
The minimum investment required is roughly $1, and the notes can be traded against the US dollar, USDT or BTC. This marks the first time such products have been available for secondary trading on a regulated tokenized securities exchange.
Strategy has remained the largest corporate bitcoin holder by a wide margin with a treasury of 845,050 BTC. Metaplanet follows a similar playbook in Japan, while H100 and Capital B represent smaller but growing versions of the same bet in Sweden and France. The new listings push Bitfinex Securities' total listed assets past $500 million.
The tokenized notes do not confer direct ownership or voting rights to investors. Instead, they provide synthetic exposure to how shares move, with prices potentially swinging hard alongside bitcoin's price.
