Bitfinex Securities Launches $50M Tokenized Nickel Raise
Bitfinex Securities has launched a $50 million tokenized capital raise for Alkemya Metacore, a Luxembourg-based platform developing financial and industrial uses for high-purity nickel wire.
The offering precedes a planned listing of the ALKN security for eligible investors. The product is connected to a Luxembourg platform built around a stockpile valued at $1.6 billion and comprising approximately seven million meters of nickel wire, held in custody in Switzerland.
The blockchain structure is designed to turn an asset normally held inside industrial supply chains into a tradable financing instrument. This approach follows broader growth in tokenized securities, including the expansion of Ondo's tokenized-equities platform beyond $1 billion.
