BitFuFu Sees 55% Boost in Bitcoin Production Amid Capacity Expansion

BitFuFu's Bitcoin production has seen a significant rebound in August. The company reported a 55.4% increase in production, with cloud-mining customers accounting for three-quarters of the extra output.

The unaudited operating update showed that total production reached 174 BTC in September, up from 112 BTC in July. Cloud-mining production rose from 40 to 86 BTC, contributing 46 BTC of the 62 BTC increase. Self-mining added the remaining 16 BTC, rising from 72 to 88 BTC.

The company's Bitcoin holdings increased by 59 BTC, reaching a total of 1,373 BTC in August. However, this is still 298 BTC below June's balance of 1,671 BTC.
