Bitget Adds CFD Support to Open API for Multi-Asset Trading
Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has expanded its Open API framework to support Contracts for Difference (CFDs) in addition to cryptocurrencies.
The new functionality allows traders to access a range of traditional markets, including gold, foreign exchange, stock indices, and crude oil, alongside crypto.
This move is aimed at algorithmic and quantitative traders who operate strategies across multiple asset classes but may otherwise need separate connections, data sources, and execution systems for crypto and traditional markets.
Existing Bitget API users can now incorporate CFD instruments into their current strategy frameworks without establishing an additional API connection.
