Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, is in talks with major global financial institutions, including BlackRock, to explore potential collaboration opportunities for expanding their digital asset presence and product distribution across Asia.

The discussions involve the Asian distribution of tokenized exchange-traded products. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen confirmed that they have maintained close communication with BlackRock regarding distribution opportunities in Asian markets.

BlackRock has been increasing its presence in Asia, with approximately $15.3 trillion in client assets under management. The company recently introduced additional blockchain-based money market products and has argued that the macroeconomic case for Bitcoin is strengthening.

A report from the OECD showed that blockchain-based crypto asset transactions in Asia increased 69% year over year as of June 2025, representing the fastest growth rate among global regions.
