Bitget Becomes First Crypto Exchange to Adopt Official Nasdaq Market Data
Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has integrated official Nasdaq market data into its platform. This move marks a significant step in building out the infrastructure behind Bitget's US-equities-related products. The integration brings exchange-sourced US equity market information directly into Bitget's infrastructure, replacing third-party aggregated feeds with official Nasdaq data.
The upgrade is designed to provide consistent market information through periods of elevated activity, including the US market open, earnings announcements, and major macroeconomic releases. For VIP, quantitative, and institutional traders, the integration offers clearer data provenance and more dependable inputs for high-volume trading, automated strategies, pricing, and risk management.
The integration applies specifically to market data and does not change how orders are matched or executed on Bitget. The platform supplements the Nasdaq feed with its own monitoring, validation, and anomaly controls. Users do not need to take any action to access the upgraded market-data infrastructure.
CEO Gracy Chen stated that building a universal exchange means upgrading the infrastructure behind the markets, not just expanding the number of assets users can trade. She emphasized the importance of providing a more reliable view of US equity markets while strengthening the foundation for professional and institutional participation.
