Bitget Brings Blockchain Education to Young Learners with UNICEF
Bitget has collaborated with UNICEF to launch a free online financial literacy module that includes blockchain lessons for young learners. The course, available on Agora, UNICEF's learning platform, is self-paced and covers topics such as supply and demand, budgeting, credit, loans, interest rates, and the basics of blockchain.
The module, which carries no fee, features short video lessons, visual materials, and quizzes. Students who complete the course receive a certificate. Bitget helped write the blockchain chapters of the curriculum, with chief executive Gracy Chen appearing throughout the module.
Bitget's involvement in education is not new; Chen still teaches as an adjunct professor at HKUST and believes that young people learn quickly when given the right tools and opportunities. The partnership between Bitget and UNICEF aims to make financial literacy practical, accessible, and engaging, according to Sandra Visscher of UNICEF Luxembourg.
