Bitget Brings High-End GPU Futures Trading to Retail Investors

Bitget has launched what it calls 'the first-ever' futures contract for computing power, dubbed H100 USDT ($1.00 · Live) and B200 USDT. These contracts track the rental prices of NVIDIA's high-end GPUs, specifically the H100 and Blackwell B200 models.

The idea is to allow traders to bet on the future price of these powerful chips without actually having to buy or rent them. The contracts are settled in USDT, a stablecoin pegged to the value of the US dollar, making it easy for people to get into the market.

This move is significant because it brings the concept of futures trading to the world of computing power, which has been dominated by large tech companies and cloud providers. By allowing retail traders to participate in this market, Bitget hopes to create a more liquid and transparent pricing mechanism for high-end GPUs.
