Bitget Continues Unbroken Streak of 122% Reserve Ratio
Bitget has published its August Proof of Reserves (PoR) report, showing that it maintains a 122% reserve ratio for the month. This marks the company's 45th consecutive monthly report since introducing the initiative in December 2022.
The snapshot reveals user holdings of 26,811 BTC, 123,688 ETH, 1,453,506,874 USDT, and 109,685,432 USDC. Compared to July, Bitcoin holdings remained relatively unchanged, while Ethereum increased by 10%. However, USDT and USDC holdings decreased by 13% and 4%, respectively.
Bitget continues to exceed the 1:1 benchmark across all tracked assets, with its total reserve ratio remaining at 122%. The report also highlights the company's commitment to transparency and user protection, providing a clear picture of its financial health. CEO Gracy Chen emphasized the importance of trust in the industry, stating that 'security is being tested every day'.
The August update extends Bitget's monthly disclosure program, which has now run for 45 consecutive months. The Proof of Reserves initiative sits alongside other safety measures, such as the Protection Fund and risk controls, to safeguard user assets. As Bitget expands its Universal Exchange model across crypto, tokenized assets, and traditional financial markets, regular reserve disclosures provide users with a consistent way to verify the backing of their assets.
