Bitget Enters Partnership with Bhutan's Gelephu Mindfulness City

Bitget has signed a cooperation agreement with Gelephu Mindfulness City Authority (GMCA) in Bhutan, marking its move to establish a local presence. The partnership aims to support the growth of the digital asset ecosystem in Gelephu Mindfulness City.

Under the agreement, Bitget will prepare an application for a Financial Services Licence and work with GMCA on operational, regulatory, and ecosystem-building projects. This marks Bitget's entry into Bhutan's digital innovation push, which has drawn international attention due to its focus on responsible digital assets.

Bhutan is developing Gelephu Mindfulness City as a next-generation financial and innovation hub. The country has used its hydropower resources to support green cryptocurrency mining, aiming to stimulate economic growth and create new employment pathways.
