Bitget Expands UEX Strategy Across Global Markets Amid Significant Growth
Bitget is celebrating its eighth anniversary by expanding its Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy across global markets, including crypto and traditional financial markets. The Seychelles-based platform has seen a significant shift towards non-crypto assets, with such trading volumes accounting for as much as 40% of its total volume over the past year.
In addition to this growth, Bitget's trading in traditional finance perpetual contracts and Contracts for Difference (CFDs) surpassed $10 billion in daily volume at its peak. The company has entered its ninth year with a focus on broadening the range of markets available on its platform, under the theme '8uilt for Perfect Trades.'
As part of this expansion, Bitget has launched various products, including stock perpetual contracts and US stock options, as well as Hong Kong stock Quanto contracts. The company's rToken product has also seen significant growth, surpassing $100 million in assets under management within five weeks, with over 3 million cumulative transactions recorded.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated that 'crypto and traditional markets are converging, AI is changing the trading experience, and institutional participation is accelerating.' The company plans to expand its Proof of Reserves coverage from four to 24 verifiable assets as part of its eighth-anniversary initiatives, with a continued focus on security, market integrity, and compliance.
