Bitget Marks Eight Years with Crypto-Convergence Strategy
Bitget is marking its eighth anniversary as one of the world's largest Universal Exchanges (UEX), expanding beyond cryptocurrency to include traditional financial assets. The exchange has already introduced stock perpetual contracts, US stock options, and Hong Kong stock Quanto contracts, with non-crypto assets accounting for up to 40% of its total trading volume.
The company is developing its rToken product, which tracks traditional market assets through tokenized instruments. In just five weeks after launch, rToken surpassed $100 million in assets under management and has since recorded over 3 million transactions. Around one in four new users now starts trading with rToken.
Bitget has also introduced AI Playbook, an autonomous trading agent that gives users access to AI-assisted trading strategies. The company's CEO, Gracy Chen, emphasized the exciting potential of this convergence between crypto and traditional markets, as well as the impact of AI on trading experiences.
