Bitget Registers as FSP in New Zealand, Expanding Services
Bitget has marked another significant milestone in its expansion plans by registering as a Financial Services Provider (FSP) in New Zealand. This move enables Bitget to offer a wider range of services, including foreign exchange, money transfers, custody, and portfolio management.
This registration aligns with Bitget's broader Universal Exchange model, which integrates cryptocurrency, tokenized assets, and traditional financial products. By doing so, Bitget aims to enhance its regulatory compliance and transparency while preparing for more complex multi-asset offerings.
In addition to this registration, Bitget has also joined New Zealand's Insurance and Financial Services Ombudsman Scheme. This independent dispute resolution channel provides customers with an additional layer of protection and support.
