Bitget Shifts Focus Beyond Crypto with Universal Exchange Strategy

Bitget, an eight-year-old cryptocurrency exchange, is expanding its offerings beyond crypto assets. The company's Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy aims to bring together different asset types on one platform.

The exchange has seen significant growth in non-crypto assets, with these assets making up 40% of trading volume over the past year. Traditional finance products have also grown, with perpetual contracts and CFDs reaching more than $10 billion in daily trading volume each.

rToken, a product launched by Bitget, has reached over $100 million in assets under management within five weeks. The exchange is using artificial intelligence through AI Playbook, an automated trading tool that helps users manage and execute trading strategies.
