Bitget Surges to Second Place in Ethereum Liquidity Rankings
Bitget has solidified its position as one of the top exchanges for Ethereum liquidity in H1 2026, according to CoinGlass. The exchange recorded $81.37 million in ETH order-book depth within 1% of the mid-market price, placing it second only to Binance. This achievement reflects Bitget's growing focus on institutional traders, who require deeper markets due to their larger positions and stricter execution requirements.
Bitget's performance is particularly notable given the decline in overall crypto derivatives volume, which fell by 15.7% year over year in H1 2026. The exchange's strong Ethereum order book can attract traders who may later use other products on the platform, supporting its broader multi-asset ambition.
Bitget also expanded into traditional financial products during this period, recording $66.41 billion in TradFi perpetual contract volume. This growth demonstrates demand for stocks, commodities, and foreign exchange products within crypto-native trading environments.
