Bitget Tackles Crypto Industry Bias with $10 Million Blockchain4Her Pledge

Share

Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, has launched a Crypto Anti-Bias Pledge to address the underrepresentation of women in the industry. According to Bitget's data, women account for only 25% of crypto users worldwide, despite being expected to control over $83 trillion in wealth by 2030.

The pledge focuses on three areas: education and access, equal opportunity, and zero tolerance for workplace harassment. As part of this initiative, Bitget is backing the Blockchain4Her program with a $10 million investment.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized that the industry's adoption ceiling is structurally limited by excluding half the global population. The exchange also reported that female-led blockchain startups receive approximately 6% of total industry funding.
