Bitget Talks with Wall Street Giants to Fuel Asian Expansion
Crypto exchange Bitget is in talks with major financial institutions to expand its presence in Asia. According to CEO Gracy Chen, the company is discussing potential collaborations with Wall Street giants like BlackRock.
BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, has already made moves into the Asian market. It has tokenized cash offerings and new blockchain-based money market products. The firm's head of digital assets, Robert Mitchnick, recently stated that the macro case for Bitcoin is strengthening.
Bitget, which has 125 million registered users globally with half based in East and Southeast Asia, sees a potential opportunity to distribute asset managers' products to investors who hold both crypto and traditional stocks. In fact, over 52% of Bitget's users already hold both assets.
