Bitget Token Price Soars as Exchange Strengthens Ecosystem and Reduces Supply
Bitget, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has been expanding its ecosystem and strengthening its native token, BGB. The exchange permanently removed 800 million BGB from circulation, reducing the maximum supply to 1.2 billion tokens.
In addition to this, Bitget plans to use 20% of its quarterly profits for BGB buybacks, which will be burned, further reducing the available supply. This long-term plan aims to bring the total supply down to 100 million BGB.
The integration with Morph gives BGB an added role as a gas and governance token, while its ongoing burn program continues to reduce supply. If Bitget's trading activity, Morph adoption, and demand for BGB continue to grow, the token could gain steady bullish momentum.
According to Coinpedia's price prediction, the potential high for BGB in 2026 is $4.98, while weaker market conditions could limit its upside. By 2030, Bitget predicts that BGB may reach a high of $35.
